Bring Integrity and Ethics to Village Government
For decades, elected officials and the vast majority of their appointees at Village Hall have come from the same small pool of Skokie Caucus Party members. They have held closed-door meetings with business interests that only add fuel to the fire of resident distrust.
As Trustee, I will work to ensure that the newly installed, post-referendum Village Board acts with openness and integrity, starting with eliminating Skokie’s politicized legal department. The Board should put the work under the purview of outside counsel while it decides on the best way forward, either with internal staffing or outsourced, and then work forward.
